Located right in the center of the famed Miracle Mile section of Los Angeles sits 5600 Wilshire. The complex offers studios through two-bedroom units with modern appliances and layouts. 9. The Micropolitan at Larchmont Village

Apex is perched in DTLA’s South Park neighborhood, best known for its entertainment complex, including STAPLES Center, LA LIVE and Microsoft Theater, all an easy 5 to 6-minute walk from your front door.
Oh, and groceries? In downtown LA? Believe it or not, yes. And lots of them, including Ralphs, Whole Foods and Smart & Final, plus Cork & Tap, Target and more (all within two to three blocks). Welcome to the downtown renaissance.
As for your upscale digs, expect tall ceilings, oversized windows and hardwoods. Apex is also stocked with community amenities, ranging from a pool and lounge areas decked out with fire pits in creative entertainment areas and a screening room.
7. Waterstone at Metro

Suffice it to say, you’ll find ample variety in Westwood Village, enough to land these apartments in our runner-up spot.
Offering both unfurnished long-term rentals and short-term units designed to be a hotel or extended-stay alternative, apartments include plank flooring, spacious closets and fireplaces. You can also choose a unit that includes a balcony or breakfast bar. Community amenities include a rooftop fitness center and resort-style pool.
Methodology
We looked at all apartments in Los Angeles and rated them on the number of grocery businesses within a half-mile radius. We used an exponentially decreasing scale based on distance from the apartment. For instance, supermarkets located across the street from a specific property would carry more weight than those a quarter-mile away. Our establishment counts come from commercially available business listings and may not reflect recent openings and closings.
